The Burton & District Stroke Club
Celebrating Over 40 years of Helping the Stroke Affected
The Burton and District Stroke Club was set up in June 1975 to help the stroke affected and their families in and around The Burton area.
Our group meets every other Thursday at The Waterside Community Centre in Stapenhill, where we all enjoy lots of different entertainment, ranging from talks, demonstration and an old fashioned sing along to our annual Christmas party and Carol service.
As well as our regular meetings we also enjoy regular outings and an annual weeks holiday.
We are a purely social club where people who have suffered a stroke can meet similar people.
2017 is going to be a big year for the Burton Stroke Club.
Our meetings start on Thursday 12th January, which signals the start of our 42nd year.
We look forward to welcoming you all to our meetings through the year.
Following the closure of the Stroke Support office at Burton Hospital, Burton STroke Club will be able to offer support and advice in all ways.
